V IMPLEMENTATION RESULT AND RECOMMENDATIONS

A. Conclusions

1. The researcher accomplished the first objective which is to design and develop a Student Information
System for Philippine Women’s University Career Development and Continuing Education Center
Tarlac. The system includes the viewing managing the Admin, Faculty, and Cashier records. Also for
the students and parents viewing and printing of grades, basic information, and tuition balance.

2. The researcher accomplished second is the objective which is to create the modules of the study the
admin manages the adding of students, course/year/section, updating of student’s information, and
changing of passwords. The faculty can add grades of the students, manage their grades, update their
grades, adding of subjects, and update subjects. The cashier can view the lists of students and manage it
and also he/she can add tuition balances of the students. The students and parents have a form so that
they can view their grades and their tuition balances in one page, they can also print it for their own
copy.

B. Recommendations
1. The researcher suggests the enhancing the user interface of the Student Information System to be more
attractive to users, adding more security to the admin, faculty, and cashier for their safety after logging
in.

2. The researcher recommends to the future researchers to add gmail confirmation, SMS notification for the
parents if the grades are posted or not yet.

3. The researcher recommends to the future researchers the improvement of the security of the system so
that the students cannot login or sign up for the admin, faculty, and cashier page to change their grades.
