1. What is an endangered animal?

Animals in danger of extinction are those animals that, over the years, have left very
few specimens of their species in nature, whose reproduction and existence, due to
not having a suitable habitat, cannot be carried out anywhere in the world, running a
high risk of disappearing completely.
2. What causes animals to bécame endagered?

Well, first of all, the animals are in danger of extinction for many reasons, one can be
climate change, illegal hunting, environmental contamination among others.

I will make known about the giant otter.

4. Describe its physical carácteristics and its hábitat

Its characteristics are: its head is small and round, in relation to the rest of its body, it
has a short snout that ends in a blunt point (rounded). Their ears are small and are
located behind the head. His nose is completely covered with fine hairs.

The giant otter inhabits areas close to water, they are used by them to build dens,
settlements and a kind of bathroom for their use.

5. Why this animal is considered endagered?

The reason for its extinction was: It should be noted that for several decades
the populations were decimated by the desire to get their fine skin. Today they are
also threatened by the destruction of their habitat, excessive fishing, water pollution
and local tourism. For all these reasons, the otter has been threatened and its species
is in danger of extinction.

7. What can we do to protec this animal?

As with most endangered species, conserving the giant river otter means more
