Rod Guides

Reduce rod wear, tubing wear, and lifting costs with Double E Rod
Guides. They reduce rod wear and tubing wear by acting as bushings
that space the rod couplings away from the tubing. They reduce lifting
costs by helping the rods fall straight, without buckling, for a longer
pumping stroke.

Double E Rod Guides provide larger wear surfaces and last longer
than other brands; their secure grip prevents slippage under most
conditions. Field replaceable, they’re available in two versions:

Nylon — a twist-on guide for well temperatures of 160 degrees F or

less; unaffected by well fluids, including hydrogen sulfide and carbon
dioxide solutions; available for 2-3⁄8, 2-7⁄8, and 3-1⁄2 inch tubing.

Rubber — a slotted, hammer-on, spring-backed guide; can be used

on wells with elevated temperatures (up to 250 degrees F) and low gas
production; available for 2-3⁄8 and 2-7⁄8 inch tubing.
