- A fishbone diagram is useful for making new products and figuring out how to fix
problems. It is often used to focus a conversation on our problem. After the group has
come up with all the possible causes of a problem, the facilitator helps the group rank
the possible causes by how important they are and draw a hierarchy. The name comes
from the way the diagram is made, which looks a lot like a fish's skeleton. Fishbone
diagrams are usually made from right to left, with each big "bone" of the fish branching
off into smaller bones that have more information.

A fishbone diagram could be used by our team for the following reasons is to figure
out what might be causing a problem. To help make a product that solves problems
with what's already on the market. To find the weak spots or bottlenecks in a business
process. To avoid problems that keep coming up or employee burnout. To make sure
that any fixes that are put in place will fix the problem.
