BY Group 2

(Output 1)

Frame 5 to 10 questions to test the proposed concepts.

The questions framed by group members for the concept :

1. Is it Reusable? ( Weightage : 20% )

2. Is it Affordable? ( Weightage : 20% )

3. Is it easily Available? ( Weightage : 10% )

4. How is its Functionality? ( Weightage : 35% )

5. Is it Eco-friendly? ( Weightage : 15% )

(Output 2)

Coming up with various/different concepts to solve the problem.

The concepts which were decided by the group are as follows :

Concept 1 : Fitting walls with water sprinklers and smoke sensors.

Explanation :- The sprinkler sprays water forcefully over the flames, extinguishing them
completely in most cases, or at least controlling the heat and limiting the development of
toxic smoke until the fire department arrives. Only the sprinkler nearest the fire
activates.
Concept 2 : Accessible fire escape.

Explanation :- A person escaping the fire would slide down the interior of the tube, and
could control the speed of descent by pushing outward on the tube-like structure with
their arms and legs. This escape tube could be rapidly deployed from a window and
hung down to street level . And addition of foldable fire blankets help to get protection
during a fire accident

Concept 3 : Fire Proof Gel.

Explanation :- Fire proof gel protects from burning fuel. They are super absorbent
polymer slurries with a consistency like petroleum jelly which gives protection during a
direct-attack and reduces the burns and manual fire accidents
Concept 4 : A concrete mix of different fireproof materials.

Explanation :-

Making powders of fireproof materials like silicon or fine sand, powdered carbon dioxide
ordinary potassium bicarbonate etc and then finally mixing them into fine powders which
can be applied as a thin layer on walls and all types of furniture

Write up for finalized concept
Finalized concept : Fireproof gel and concrete mix

Fire proof gel helps in protecting one's life and reduces the chance of burns due to the fire. It is
a jelly substance composed of fireproof substances like boric acid, urea and its derivatives etc.
It will be a non venomous gel so that it could be used while in the kitchen. And the concrete mix
which can be applied as an additional thin layer on walls and other furniture will reduce the
spread of fire and reduce the chances of wildfires. This could also be used around the electric
cables in order to stop the spread of Electric fires. This mix is made up of fine sand particles
powdered carbon dioxide with some trace mix of nitrogen and some other fire extinguishing
materials
