building and car park.

2.0 PURPOSE OF THE MEETING

CCECC stated that the purpose of the interaction is to present and explain the
purpose of implementing the modification and optimization of the original

A CONSTRUCTION BOUNDARY
CCECC stated that the construction boundary limit in the original layout
extends beyond provided Right of Way, therefore the design modification
was carried out to address this situation by shifting the building layout in
such a way that it is within the approved Right of Way.
B Due to the shifting of the building to ensure that it is within the proposed FIRS to forward
boundary, the water supply house has to be relocated to the back of the the Chapel design
existing FIRS Building because there is enough space. to CCECC
FIRS stated that the space proposed by CCECC for the new location of
the water supply house is where they intend to cite the Chapel. However,
FIRS promised to make available the chapel design to CCECC to see if
space can be fashioned out to accommodate the water supply house.

C BUILDING FACADE
The façade of the building is covered with a glass curtain wall with no
space or allowance for the installation of air conditioning components.
The building façade of the optimized design was made of louvres to
ensure adequate allowance the installation of the air conditioner
components.
The façade of the parking space which was enclosed with glass curtain
walls and windows was modified to open space to allow free ventilation
in the optimized drawing and also result in saving costs.

D WATER TANK AND SEWAGE PLANT REPOSITIONING

CCECC also stated that the initial design of the water tank was subsurface and
the new design was optimized to be a surface water tank to be positioned outside
the building. The water tank and sewage plant shall service the two buildings
but the existing water tank and sewage treatment plant shall not be demobilized
until the new on are completed.
E ROOF ACCESS
CCECC shows the roof drawing of the original design which has no roof
access while the optimized design has been modified to have access to the
roof. The number of parking lot per floor was increased in the optimized
design.

F CAR PARKING SPACE

CCECC proposed that the generator room located on the ground floor of
the building in the original design shall be positioned outside the
building, therefore, the ground floor will have more parking space which
will increase from 125 to 145 and also, air pollution and oil spilling can
be prevented.
FIRS mandated CCECC that the toilets on the ground floor parking lot is
to be moved to the lobby.
FIRS asked about the traffic management plan and CCECC showed a

SHOW-STOPPERS
G CCECC presented the list of show-stoppers that need to be removed or
relocated from their existing positions to ensure the smooth
implementation of the project.
The parked vehicles are to be evacuated to another location so that we
can start construction work. FIRS stated that it is the responsibility of CCECC to forward
CCECC to source for a place as it is cost implication is contained in the the original and
bill. optimized design
Other show-stoppers such as trees, wash hand basin, street lights, to FIRS
generating set and cabin portal were also mentioned.
FIRS requested for soft copies of the drawings of both old and new, and
CCECC promised to send the drawings via mail.
CCECC stated that the split unit air conditioning is preferred over the
central air conditioning unit because of ease of maintenance.
CCECC requested for further requirements of FIRS so as to incorporate
them in the optimized drawing
