1. General 2. Login

• When dicomPACS®DX-R has started, continue by

clicking „Login“
• This guide is meant to help you through the basic
functions of dicomPACS®DX-R
• For further information please refer to the user manual
of the software

3. Create patient 4. Insert patient

• Select „New“ to create a patient

• Enter the patient information and confirm with „insert

patient“

5. X-ray view 6. Exposure

• Continue to the X-ray view • Select the „Exposure“ tab

• Plan the exposures you wish to take by selecting a body • When the status button is green, the system is ready to
part and then the exposure take the image

7. Position the patient 8. Finish image

• Position the patient and use the hand switch to trigger • Check the image, add annotations if necessary
the X-ray • confirm by selecting „Finish study“
