1. I refer to your application dated 08-Apr-2023.

2. Approval is hereby granted for the proposed works described in your said application at the
location stated above subject to the following conditions:

 Your compliance with the Street Works (Works on Public Streets) Regulations including
any subsequent amendments and all relevant Codes of practice;
 You obtaining clearance from the Development & Building Control – Rail Division of LTA
if the proposed works fall within the Railway Protection Zone and Railway Safety Zone;
and
 That you have obtained the necessary approvals from all relevant authorities for the
commencement or the carrying out (as the case may be) of the proposed works.
 That you shall provide daily update of road works, which involves lane/road closures, to
LTA via LTA.PROMPT system upon commencement and cessation of the works.
 That Auxiliary Police Officers are required to regulate traffic for road works at junctions
with more than 2 vehicular approaches and total road closure etc..
 Prior to the commencement of works on major arterial roads and / or near traffic junctions,
the applicant / contractor shall seek clearance from LTA’s Intelligent Transport Systems
Operation Division (ITS Operations) via Tel at 63326428 or 63326429.
 That you shall inform LTA, Bus Operations Centre (BOC) via Tel: 62957147 or email
BOC@lta.gov.sg at least one (1) week in advance if the roadworks implicate bus routes
 There shall be only one (1) contractor working along the same section of road at any time.
Works shall not commence at the site if there are already on-going works carried out by
another agency/contractor in close proximity along the same section of road.
 Prior to commencement of works on Expressways, including any lane closures, the
applicant shall submit a notification to LTA’s Intelligent Transport Systems Operation
Division (ITS Operations) via the LTA. PROMPT.
  That you shall obtain clearance from LTA Road Pricing Systems (RPS), Mr. Sulaiman at
Tel 6585 3628, or email to Sulaiman_MAHAROBIN@lta.gov.sg with your proposal and
schedule of works at least 2 weeks in advance, if your works are in the 5m radius from the
ERP gantry.
 For parking of construction vehicle(s) within working area near LTA CCTV Parking
Enforcement Zone, please notify LTA Enforcement, Mr Benjamin Ng, Ms Shubashini
Balasubramaniam, and Mr Tan Wei Jie via email Benjamin_Ng@lta.gov.sg,
Shubashini_BALASUBRAMANIAM@lta.gov.sg and TAN_Wei_Jie@lta.gov.sg
respectively at least 1 week in advance, with a copy of this road work permit, affected
CCTV location, date and time of parking.
 That you shall inform LTA Transport Research, Mr Harmesh Singh Dhillon and Dr. Paul
Wang via email at Harmesh_Singh_Dhillon@lta.gov.sg and Paul_Wang@lta.gov.sg
respectively, at least one (1) week in advance if your works affect BlueSG Electric Vehicle
(EV) charging stations.
 You shall ensure that no work is carried out in the private estates on weekends and public
holidays.
 To liaise with affected house owners prior to commencement of work.
 Should your works result in unexpected closure of lane(s)/road that encroach into peak
hours, the work commissioning agency shall, as and when required by the Authority,
promptly put up advisory messages on appropriate media channels to inform public of the
prolonged closure, as part of traffic mitigation measures.
 The work commissioning agency shall take in feedback from the Authority to include
relevant information in any advisory/publicity materials that are to be put up by the work
commissioning agency to manage road users' expectation on traffic condition and/or the
lane(s)/road closure in relation to the works.

 B As your proposed work is along bus route, please inform Bus Operations Centre, Tel:
6295 7147 and email via LTA-BOPS-BS_BP@lta.gov.sg at least one week prior to
commencement of work; B For works approaching the T B junction, you are strictly
reminded to work with ASO/APO deployment to assist affected motorists; B You are
strictly reminded to carry out the proposed works according to the work details as declared
in the submission; B To ensure the proposed services are laid undercrossing the covered
drain and cross culvert.
 B No lane closure of slip road, and bus bays at all times, and no openings on the slip
roads and rigid pavements; B The final road resurfacing of the affected carriageway shall
be completed by the approved permit completion date. You are to deploy traffic marshals
should the need arises. Residents/stakeholders at this vicinity must be served notice of these
works in advance to mitigate their inconvenience.

3. The validity of this application is 28 days from the date of this letter or the approved
commencement date, whichever is later.

4. For works on carriageway involving lane reduction, please comply strictly with the approved
work schedule and the length of lane closure as follows:

5. No works are allowed during the peak hours or when traffic flow is heavy, as defined in the
Code Of Practice for Works on Public Streets. Please refer to the “List of roads and the
corresponding peak hour periods” posted on LTA.PROMPT under the function “General
Information”.

6. Please notify NEA-Call Centre (1800-2255632) and LTA-Call Centre (1800-2255582) at least
one day in advance if the proposed works are to be carried out from 7.00pm to 7.00am (night)
and/or on weekends and public holidays.

7. Please display a copy of this approval letter TA03 on site to facilitate enforcement checks by
LTA and the Traffic Police.
