COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course includes communication systems; transmission media; spectral analysis of signals; noise and distortion; methods of analog and
digital modulation; multiplexing systems; telephony; introduction of information theory

COURSE OBJECTIVE
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
1. Define the different components of an electronic communications system and know the different issues affecting it.
2. Understand the different methods of analog and digital modulation and demodulation.
3. Discuss the theories involved in multiplexing.
