ur school year is now in full swing! August was a month of new faces and new places, but we hope your child was able to find comfort in the fun-filled lessons and the caring teachers here at Kids Village. There are a few things we need to make you aware of. First, please remember that by using the pick-up and drop-off area in the back of the building, we will be able to better ensure the safety of each child. Its always a little slow going at first, but here are a few things to help the process move more quickly. When dropping off your child, please remember to have their seat unbuckled, and allow our teachers to unload your child. When picking up your child, make sure your car tag is clearly visible and your doors are unlocked. Please do not get out of your vehicle or buckle your child while still in line. We have designated the last four parking slots as our buckle zone. When your child has been loaded into your vehicle, pull forward into one of the parking slots to buckle your child or pull around to the front of the building. Secondly, school pictures will be taken on September 22nd and 23rd. Watch for a picture packet to come home with details. Third, we will be kicking off our reading program, Kids Village R.E.A.D.S. this month. We will send an email that explains the program and a calendar for tracking your childs progress. We want every child to discover the magic found in books and hope this will inspire some great family reading time. And lastly, dont forget School Spirit Day! On the 5th and the 20th of every month, we invite everyone to wear their Kids Village T-shirt. Its a great opportunity to show how much we LOVE Kids Village!
