1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Safety Googles
Remarks.

1.1 Safety Glass issued to workforce is incompatible with the works


associated in construction industry

1. Poor frame (Scratchable & Poor Vision).


2. Slippery when in motion.
3. Safety Glasses is unable to function safely if used for long due to
the lackluster observed.

1.2 Control Measures to be taken

1. To provide Safety Glasses which provides comfort, durable and


lightweight.
2. Snug-fit to prevent slippage when in motion.
3. Anti-Scratch frame to prevent scratches, nicks and scrapes.
4. Clear & tinted safety glasses
5. To provide and ensure the Safety Glasses is in accordance with
SS473:2011

1.3 Recommended & Proposed Safety Glasses (Brand – KINGS


SPEC – KY1151)

1. Longer durability
2. Sufficient grip
3. Clear vision
4. Anti-Scratch lens

2. Personal Protective Equipment (Safety Water Boots – Wet Work)
2.1 Site Condition Comments

2.2 Usage of Safety Boots is incompatible and unsafe for wet works
or for damp site condition

1. Unsafe and incompatible for workforce when working at muddy or


wet-type of site condition.
2. Prone to water and fungal infections
3. Affects the durability of Safety Boots

2.3 Control Measures to be taken

1. To provide workforce Water Boots (Associated with Wet Works or


for damp site condition).
2. Workforce working under the condition of wet and slippery is
required of Water Boots to prevent water from entering and able
to prevent slip and trips and keeping of feet dry and clean.
3. Water Boots prevents water from seeping inside the boots and
prevent blisters or any other skin infections

3. Personal Protective Equipment (Long Sleeve Uniform Workwear)
Comments

3.1 Current Short Sleeve Uniform Workwear is unsafe and poses a


certain level of risk due to the exposure of arm without protection.

1. Potential Laceration/Cuts injuries

3.2 Control Measures to be taken

1. To provide Long Sleeve Uniform Workwear to minimize the level


of risk of exposure to injuries
2. Decreases the level of risk for skin infections
