The Michelin low-profile 59/80R63 series MX XDRC4 is now


Michelin 59/80R63 available for the Caterpillar 797B Mining Truck. The price list
Tires for Cat® 797B reference number is 217-0767 (XDRC4).

Mining Trucks Features of this low profile tire include excellent resistance to
tread cut and impact damage, increased wear life and optimized
traction. The MX XDRC4 is a radial deep rock tread tire, best
for use in long haul, high speed cycles and is designed for severe
applications.

Existing Caterpillar 797 Mining Trucks with 55/80R63 tires


on 41" rims can be adapted to accept the 59/80R63 tires.
To accommodate the new tire, the 41" rim must be upgraded
to a 44" rim. In addition, the rock ejector must be relocated and
extension plates added to the rock shedder. The price list
reference number for spare 44" rims is 203-4706.
