RESOLUTION REQUIRING HOUSEHOLDS IN BARANGAY ANITO, GAMAY

NORTHERN SAMAR TO BE COMPLIANT WITH THE RE-SURVEY OF
HOUSEHOLDS TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG
ABUSE COUNCIL (BADAC) ON OCTOBER 20-23, 2020.

WHEREAS, after having captured one resident of Brgy. Anito, Gamay,

Northern Samar for selling an illegal drug on a buy-bust operation
conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on July 07,
2020, there is need to re-assess the current situation of the barangay to
effectively implement the barangay drug clearing program;

WHEREAS, it the function of the BADAC to determine and maintain a

record of the names and other personal information of the actual residents
and its effect on the peace and order situation in the barangay including
listings of suspected drug users and pushers;

WHEREAS, it is also the function of the BADAC to identify the drug affected
clusters, work places, streets, puroks and sitios where there are violation of
RA 9165 and immediately report the same to PNP or PDEA;

WHEREFORE, on the motion duly agreed by the BADAC, RESOLVED AS IT

HEREBY RESOLVED, to require all households to be compliant to the re-
survey that will be conducted by the BADAC ON October 20-23, 2020.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BRGY. ANITO SANGGUNIANG

KABATAAN MEMBERS TO RELEASE AN AMOUNT OF FIVE THOUSAND
PESOS (PHP 5,000.00) FOR THE PROVISION OF POSTERS OF PUBLIC
SERVICES HOTLINES

WHEREAS, it is the paramount concern of the barangay council to maintain

peace and order and effectively curb the proliferation of dangerous drugs
and other substances in the barangay;

WHEREAS, it is also the function of the BADAC to identify the drug affected
clusters, work places, streets, puroks and sitios where there are violation of
RA 9165 and immediately report the same to PNP or PDEA;

WHEREAS, there is a need of a functional communication line from the

citizens to the authorities and the barangay response team for easy
reporting of incidents and activities violating RA 9165 in the barangay;

WHEREAS, positioning posters of public services hotlines at the

conspicuous areas in each purok and other strategic locations may facilitate
an easy reporting of incidents and possible violations of RA 9165.

WHEREFORE, on the motion duly agreed by the BADAC, RESOLVED AS IT

HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize the Brgy Anito Sangguniang Kabataan
members to release an amount of five thousand pesos
(Php 5,000.00) for the provision of posters of public services hotlines.

RESOLUTION REQUESTING FOR ADDITIONAL FUND FROM THE LOCAL

GOVERMNET UNIT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF GAMAY FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF CCTVs AT THE SELECTED AREAS OF BRGY. ANITO,
GAMAY, NORTHERN SAMAR

WHEREAS, it is the paramount concern of the barangay council to maintain

peace and order and effectively curb the proliferation of dangerous drugs
and other substances in the barangay;

WHEREAS, there is a need to install CCTVs at the selected areas in the

barangay to monitor the streets, puroks, or areas where of violation of RA
9165 and other crimes are being conducted.

WHEREAS, the barangay council has already allocated an amount of forty-

eight thousand pesos (Php 48,000.00) for the Brgy, Anito CCTV installation
project;

WHEREAS, due to the considerable number CCTV units that have to be

provided to monitor the streets or areas where violation of RA 9165 and
other crimes may possibly occur, the said amount would not suffice;

WHEREFORE, on the motion duly agreed by the BADAC, RESOLVED AS IT

HEREBY RESOLVED, to request for an additional fund from the LGU of the
municipality of Gamay for the installation of CCTVs at the
selected areas of Brgy. Anito, Gamay, Northern Samar.

RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE GAMAY - PNP TO CONDUCT AN

INFORMATION EDUCATION CAMAPAIGN ON DANGEROUS DRUGS TO
THE YOUTH AND/OR CITIZENS OF BRGY. ANITO, GAMAY NORTHERN
SAMAR AMID COVID 19 PANDEMIC

WHEREAS, to maintain peace and order and to effectively curb the

proliferation of dangerous drugs and other substances in the barangay is a
shared responsibility of the barangay council and other agencies such as the
Philippine National Police (PNP);

WHEREAS, BADAC is mandated to plan, strategize, and evaluate programs

on drug abuse prevention in the barangay;

WHEREAS, the conduct of Information Education Campaigns on Dangerous

Drugs is one strategy to prevent the youth from violating the RA 9165;

WHEREFORE, on the motion duly agreed by BADAC, RESOLVED AS IT

HEREBY RESOLVED, to request the Gamay – PNP to conduct an
Information Education Campaign to the youth and/or citizens of Brgy.
Anito, Gamay, Northern, Samar amid Covid 19 pandemic.
