In this case FIR has been registered on the basis of written-information
of the informant Umashankar Sah,Principal,Govt. Middle School Rewasi, P.S- Riga wherein it has been alleged that 27.03.2015 the informant when came to the said School he found the lock of the office broken and found the registers etc missing and thereafter informed the Block Education Officer,Riga and on his instructions lodged the instant FIR. On the basis of said writtten-information the FIR was registered U/s 379 IPC. After the investigation the Investigating Officer has submitted the final form along with the original case-diary wherein in para-28 he has stated that after the investigation he found the case true against unknown accused but in the light of the supervision of the Police-Inspector ,Riga he has submitted the final form stating the case to be not true. Even in the final form the investigating officer has written that he has found the case true against unknown accused and has later on submitted the final form as not true. The investigating officer has not made any list of registers allegedly stolen nor has tried to recover the alleged stolen registers related with the Mid Day Meal Scheme and School-Uniform and Scholarships. Therefore the investigation has apparently been done in mechanical manner without application of common prudence.
Under such facts and circumstances I find that further investigation is
necessary in this case. Accordingly the Officer In-charge,Riga Police Station is directed to investigate the case further. O/c to send a copy of the order to the Officer In-charge,Riga for necessary action.
Put up on 24.06.2016 for submission of further police report.
