Basic Task For Creating a Powerpoint Presentation

 Open a Power Point.
 In the left pane, select New
 Select an option: To create a presentation from prepared design, select one
templates. To see tips for using Power Point, select Take a Tour, and then
select Create.
2.How can you integrate this in teaching and in the field of education?
 Presentation skills help create innovative ideas when students come up
with creative and interesting slides to illustrates their talk.
 The use of presentation aids mix for a much more interesting talk, and the
creation of such aids can help develop students confidence
3.Make a summary of the session either in paragraph or bullet form
 PowerPoint presentations work like slide show.to convey a message or a
story. You break it down to slide. Think of each slide as a blank canvas for
the pictures and words that help you tell your story.

To open PowerPoint
o Choose a theme
o On the file tab of the ribbon, select new, and teen choose a theme then
create
Change theme colors
 On the design tab, in the variants group, select the down arrow that opens
the gallery of color variants
 Select colors and then click customize colors.
 In the create new theme colors dialog box, under theme colors, do one of
the following
 Select the button next to the name of the t5heme color element(for
example, accent 1 or hyper link)that you want to change, and then choose
a color under theme color
 In the name box, type an appropriate name for the new combination of
theme colors and then select save
 After your define a custom color scheme, its available on the colors drop-
down menu.
Change theme fonts
 On the view tab, select slide master. Then on the slide master tab, select
fonts button image.
 In the create new theme fonts dialog box under the heading font and body
font boxes, select the fonts that you want to use
 In the name box, type an appropriate name for the new theme fonts, and
then select save.
Choose a set of theme effects
 On the view tab, slide master, then on the slide master tab, select effects
 Select the set of effects that you want to use
Add slides
 Select the slides you want your new slide to follow
 Select home>new slide
 Select a layout
 Select the text box and type
Add Pictures
 To insert a picture that is save on your local drive or an internal server,
choose pictures, browse for the picture, and then choose insert
 To insert a picture from the web, choose online pictures, and use the
search box to find a picture
 Choose a picture, and then click insert.
Give your presentation
 If your not at the first slide unwant to start from where you are, click from
the current slide
 If you need to present to people who are not where you are, click present
online to set up a presentation on the web, and then choose one of the
following option
 To get out of slide show view at any time, on the keyboard, press ESC.
