Define the following terms and explain further, limit your answer in two
sentences. 5 pts each (25Pts).
1. Sports and Wellness
This program provides students with the most opportunities to explore
diverse combinations of courses in coaching, programming, and
administration within their specific areas of interest. The Bachelor of
Physical Education with a major in Sports and Wellness Management is a
four-year program designed to provide graduates with a broad and
coherent understanding of applied exercise and sports sciences in terms of
fitness and sports coaching, as well as management of fitness and sports
programs in a variety of industry settings.
2. Principles of sports
The principles of sports training are designed to guide the coach,
teacher, or player to control sports and sports training. Principles of
sports training can be general and special. General Training
Principles is valid for general sports training.
3. Wellness Management
A process of supporting, training and encouraging others in the pursuit of
well-being in all dimensions of a person's life, including Social, Physical,
Emotional, Occupational, Intellectual, Environmental and Spiritual. Personal
health behavior is significant, as individuals are encouraged to adopt and
maintain positive lifestyles through a variety of awareness, educational and
motivational strategies. The program incorporates the Dimensions of
Wellness philosophy as endorsed by the National Wellness Institute.
4. Physical Education
It aims to develop students' physical competence and knowledge of movement
and safety, and their ability to use these to perform in a wide range of activities
associated with the development of an active and healthy lifestyle.
5. Athletics and Business
Sports enterprises are called people, activities, and organizations involved
in generating, facilitating, promoting, or organizing any sport-related
activity, experience, or business operation. Athletics is a sport that consists
of competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. Track and field,
road running, cross-country running, and racewalking are the most
frequent athletics competitions.
