A romantic drama movie called Midnight Sun was released on March 23, 2018.

The film tells the story of a 17-year-old girl who is unable to be outside in the sun
because of an illness problem. Based on a Japanese film, Midnight Sun tells the story
of Katie, a 17-year-old with a rare condition who is confined to her home during the
day and killed by even the smallest amount of sunlight. Katie has been protected from
the outside world since she was a little child. It represents the cast member Bella
Thorne, Patrick Schwarzenneger, and Rob Riggle with the director Scott Speer.
The film begins with a young girl and her father living in a home in Washington
State. Her name is Katie Price, and she suffers from Xeroderma pigmentosum, a rare
disease that requires her to avoid the sun since it can seriously harm her skin.
Outside Katie's home, some little children are pointing at her windows and calling her
a vampire who only appears at night. The next thing we notice is a young guy riding a
skateboard named Charlie passing by. The narrator, an older Katie, describes how she
has a crush on Charlie, despite the fact that she has never met him.
In the present, teenage Katie (Bella Thorne) is graduating from high school despite
having received home education. A guitar from Katie's mother, who passed away when
Katie was quite little, is the gift her father gives her. When it gets dark out, Katie begs
her father to let her play the guitar at the nearby train station. Katie is free to go
anywhere and do anything at night like a regular person. Charlie (Patrick
Schwarzenegger) notices her while she is singing and playing the guitar at the train
station. She panics as he approaches her and packs up her instrument before running
back home, accidentally leaving her journal behind. Morgan, a best friend of Katie, is
asked by Charlie if she is familiar with Katie, and in response, she makes plans for
Katie to pick up her journal the next evening from the station manager at the railway
station. Charlie, however, is there to surprise her with the notebook. She becomes
nervous once more, but he persuades her to walk home and speak to him.
Several days later, Katie texts Charlie to invite him to a party at the home of Morgan's
coworker. The party ends up being kind of lame, so Charlie, being a cool kid, invites
them to a fun party instead. At the party, Charlie is being pursued by another girl, but
it's obvious he likes Katie. They dance, and then he asks her out for a stroll, where
they have their first kiss on a boat that Charlie is responsible for maintaining for the
summer. After that, they go on several dates at night because, despite Katie not telling
Charlie about her illness, she keeps saying, "I'm busy during the day but can come
out at night."
Charlie surprises Katie with a train date, and the two of them travel to Seattle to
attend a performance and explore the city. A crowd gathers to watch Katie perform a
song that Charlie forces her to play on the pier. They return home by train and start
swimming in the dark water. Katie checks her watch and sees that it's broken from
the water and that the sun is almost rising when Charlie says, "Get ready for the most
gorgeous sunrise." She panics and rushes back home. In his pickup, Charlie soon
overtakes her as she is yelling for him to move faster. As she runs into the house as he
drives up, the sun rises and briefly shines on her. At the same moment that Morgan
and Katie's father arrive at the residence, Morgan informs Charlie that Katie has XP,
confusing the latter.
When Katie visits a doctor, the doctor informs her that because of the sun exposure,
her brain is contracting and she is beginning to have twitches. Charlie calls, but she
doesn't answer, and he can be seen looking up XP. When Katie visits a doctor, the

is beginning to have twitches. Charlie calls, but she doesn't answer, and he can be

condition, they are able to make up when Charlie is asked over to the house by Katie's
father. Katie reveals to Charlie that she has loved him her entire life and has observed
him from her window for years.
Overall, Midnight Sun is a well-made movie with solid work by Schwarzenegger and
Thorne. The chemistry between the two leads is believable, and their relationship is
portrayed with sensitivity and care. The movie tackles some serious subjects, like
disease and mortality, but it does so while interspersing them with humorous and
lighthearted scenes. The music is also a highlight, with Thorne's performances
showcasing her vocal talents. The movie is significant because it shows a real disease,
a teen's curiosity and desire to see the world, as well as how stuck we sometimes feel
as teenagers. And the reason they made this movie is to make more people aware of
this rare disease, which hopefully will lead to more research for a cure.

I love this movie because it is based on the timeless love story of a Japanese film. It is
a story about one’s first love and heartbreak. This isn't all rainbows and butterflies;
the film strips away cuteness when needed and gives you the pain of high school
heartbreak. And the cast is definitely the perfect on-screen couple because they are so
sweet.
You should watch this kind of movie because it can lessen your stress, be beneficial
for relaxing, reduce anxiety, and inspire the viewers. It teaches you that love is about
acceptance. It is about accepting someone’s flaws and imperfections. It is about
making sacrifices. It is about sticking through thick and thin. It says that a parent’s
love is unconditional and priceless. They will do everything for us. They want the best
for us. If only they could carry the burden that we are carrying. I totally, totally
recommend this movie to others.
