Suitability / shots for production (scene numbers)

I will record a few scenes in this location, the opening scene of Ethan getting into his car and
leaving the front door. I will also film the scenes of Ethan on the phone in the bedroom calling his
friend Sam.

Lighting Information: Solutions:

The lighting is great as it is constant, I will want
the final scenes to be well lit. The scenes filmed
outside the front door really depend on the
weather.
I will use lighting set ups to get the desired
look. If the lighting outside is too bright, I will
hold up a sheet to block the sun, if it is too dark
and gloomy, I will use an orange tint light to
make it look sunnier.

Sound Information: Solutions:

It is great to record here as it is a quiet house
with no loud traffic or planes nearby. The only
issue could potentially be computer humming
or other people in the house. There are also
two young kids in the house.
I will ask everyone nearby to be quiet whilst
filming is in progress and turn any loud
electronics off. If not, I will record the scenes
indoors after the kids have fallen asleep so
there will be no background noise from them.
Power Information
There will be lots of sockets nearby but they
may be in use
Hazards
Potentially messy room, could trip on items on
the floor
I will be filming near the stairs
Could knock the camera on objects around me.
Solutions:
I will ask if it is okay to unplug them so that I
would be able to plug in my lighting source/
charge the camera/ phone for the script/
storyboards etc.
Solutions:
I will make sure to be careful and to be aware
of my surroundings before filming. I will also
alert my actors of any hazards too so that they
do not get injured or break anything.
