SKILL-
Spelling and sounding out words.

PREP-

Print the transportation pu zzles on cardstock and laminate for extra durability.

Cut al ong the lines to separate the pieces.

PLAY-

Younger students start with j ust one pu zzle at a ti me.

They will shape the pu zzle, then sl owly sound out and
read the word at the bottom.

More advanced students may spell out the word before

l ooking at the completed pu zzle picture. They may also
choose to have all of the pu zzle pieces out at once, and
choose from many instead of j ust a few.

Play continues until all pu zzles are completed!
