CAN ANYONE DRAW?

“Research Paper”

People are afraid of things they cannot do. Drawing has been a terrifying matter to me since I knew that I
had no talent for this after my continuous attempts of drawing, a little illustrated, were ignored by teacher. Now,
after 8 years later I found out something amazing, perhaps, it was amazing only to me and people who cannot draw.

According to the scientist, 10000 hours must be taken in order to become a proficient artist, in other words for being
able to draw well. To born with a gift of this talent, sometimes this belief can take an account for those who
attempted an ample of times, dedicating so much time for this. Being good at drawing can also meant, people can
draw well can truly see the world as it is, on the contrary, those cannot draw are yet to understand the world.

However, I believe and many other may believe that “What you do will determine how you will be”, so that
I want to prove that everybody can draw and illustrate, see the true screen of the world. The only thing that blocked
us, is an unstoppable scary mindset which was told you cannot do that by someone else, just like me. Fortunately,
after 8 years I am getting acknowledged with how artist do their work, how did they learn, as I said a bit earlier, the
most amazing thing I understand now is, there is a whole bunch of technique and methodologies in drawing, if I
want to learn drawing portrait, a complete strategy from the very scratch can easily lift me up to the end of my
desire.

What was surprising to me was, I had not even understood the point of, drawing could be taught, not just some with
supernatural talents can only do that, just like the way that teacher made me thought of it. Indeed, this point of view
can take a place into everything we want to do, but cannot such as language and sport etc.

Additionally, watching TEDx talk” Why people believe they can’t draw” by Graham Shaw was definitely propped
me up to start learning draw. Through a great endeavor, I truly believe that anybody can draw if you are the one who
want to do that but cannot. Why you do not believe yourself you cannot draw? In the end, you are reading this
paper, just calm down and give it a try to draw it again by following a good structure of drawing video tutorial.
