Setup for Schlage Encode with Alexa

1 Make sure your home internet connection is up and running


with a strong 2.4 gHz Wi-Fi network throughout the home.

2 Make sure your mobile device has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi


enabled, and that the mobile device battery has sufficient
charge for the setup process.

3 Make sure your mobile device is connected to your home

code and press ‘Confirm’.

10 Press the icon in the top right corner of the app to pair a 2.4 GHz
new lock.

11 Select ‘Set up a Schlage Encode’

12 Select ‘Yes, lock is installed’

13 Slide the battery compartment cover up on the back of the


lock to reveal the QR code. Press ‘Continue’

14 Using your mobile device’s camera, scan the QR code on the


back of the lock.

15 Press and release the button on the back of the lock.

16 Wait while your device and lock complete the pairing


process.
