ASSESSMENT:

I. Write 5 programs provided by the Philippine Educational System to promote positive Filipino values.

The Philippine educational system has various programs in place to promote positive Filipino values
among students. Here are five of them:

1. Values Education – this is a subject included in the K-12 curriculum that aims to develop students'
ethical, moral, and spiritual values. It teaches students the importance of respect, honesty,
responsibility, and other values that are vital in building character.

2. Environmental Education – this program aims to educate students about environmental issues and
promote sustainable practices. It teaches students to value and respect nature, promote responsible
behavior, and make decisions that contribute to environmental protection.

3. Gender and Development (GAD) Program – this program aims to eliminate gender bias and promote
gender equality in the school setting. It teaches students to respect and value differences and promotes
equal opportunities for both male and female students

4. Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Program – this program aims to raise awareness
among students about natural disasters and emergencies. It instills values such as preparedness,
cooperation, and helping others during times of crisis.

5. Youth Leadership Camps – these are camps that aim to develop leadership skills and promote positive
values among students. They provide opportunities for students to develop teamwork, responsibility,
and discipline while building their confidence and self-esteem. These camps are often held during
summer or semestral breaks, and they encourage students to become active and responsible citizens of
their communities.

II. Write a spoken poetry on the importance of upholding the positive Filipino values to children.

Tayong mga pinoy ay kilala bilang matapat

iyan ang turo ni mama na bawal magsinungaling, kaya ako'y nagtapat na ako sayo'y may pagtingin

Tayong mga pinoy ay kilala bilang matatag at matatapang,

kaya alam mo? ako'y handa kitang ipaglaban,

ipaglaban at ipatuloy ang nasimulan

Iyan lamang ang isang malaking turo ng mga taong nagbuwis ng buhay at ipakita ang kabayanihan.
 Ang punto lang naman ng tulang ito:

Napakadaming asal ang naituro ng ating mga ninuno.

dapat lang na ating sundin at isa puso,

Kabataan sanay inyong maipangako

na huwag ninyong pabayaan ang mga naituro

hindi ito para sa iisa lamang

kundi sa lahat at dahil ito ang ating pagkakakilanlan

That Filipino people's are seen everywhere

loving and kind to other.
