DESIGN CONCEPT SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT
YEAR : 2013 THIS ARCHITECTURALLY DESIGNED SHARED HOUSE
LACATED : JAPAN WAS DEVELOPED BY STUDYING THE SHARED SPACE IT IS LOCATED IN AN URBAN RESIDENTIAL AREA IN THE JOSAI
AREA OF JAPAN. YOU CAN SEE MANY HOUSES AROUND IT, AND
AND THE PERSONAL SPACE AT THE SAME TIME, BY
THEIR HEADQUARTED ARE ARRANGING THE INDIVIDUAL ROOMS IN A THREE-
THERE IS A LONG RIVER NEARBY. IN ADDITION, THERE ARE
MANY CONVENIENT STORES SUCH AS ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS,
BASED IN JAPAN . DIMENSIONAL MANNER, ESTABLISHING MULTIPLE PHARMACIES, HALLS, AND SHOPS IN THIS AREA.
AREAS IN THE REMAINING SHARED SPACE, EACH WITH
MATERIAL USED : WOOD A DIFFERENT SENSE OF COMFORT.

STATIC SPACE DYNAMIC SPACE
THIS IS A PLAN FOR A NEW THE QUIETEST SPACE IN THE HOUSE IS THE
RECREATIONAL PLANTING AREA ON ROOF 2. THAT'S THE MOST DYNAMIC SPACE IN THE HOUSE IS THE
"SHARE HOUSE", A UNIQUE BECAUSE FLOWERS, PLANTS AND TREES NOT ONLY DINING ROOM. THAT'S BECAUSE THE DINING ROOM IS
HOUSING MODEL EVEN IN ADD VITALITY TO THE HOME, BUT FROM A ONE OF THE RARE SPACES THAT CAN BE CONVENIENT
SCIENTIFIC POINT OF VIEW, THEY CAN ALSO FOR EATING ,EVERYONE TALKED AND COMMUNICATED
THE CONSTRUCTION WHILE
REGULATE AND CURATIVELY REGULATE PEOPLE'S

ROOMS. FLOOR LAYOUT INSIDE. THE HOUSE THAT WAS ORIGINALLY
ONLY TWO FLOORS HIGH WAS DECORATED AND DESIGNED
TO HAVE A THREE-STORY APPEARANCE. AND THE INNER
SPACE IS WELL USED, NOT ONLY CAN EACH PLACE HAVE
ENOUGH SPACE TO USE, BUT ALSO INTERESTINGLY, THE 1.5TH FLOOR PLAN
HEIGHT IS NOT AFFECTED.

STRICT DESIGN PRESCRIPTS DESIGN


EXIST FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THE FAÇADE FACING AWAY FROM THE SUN IS
OF DWELLINGS ON THIS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE MAXIMUM PRIVACY AND
PASTORAL LANDSCAPE. IN PROVIDES A CLEAR DEFINITION IN THE RELATIONSHIP
BETWEEN THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SPACES. THE IRON
ADDITION, THE CLIMATE
CLADDING THAT ENVELOPS PARTS OF THE STRUCTURE
DICTATED AN INTIMATE
VISUALLY FORMS ALMOST A DARK, MOSS-LIKE
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH THE RED BRICKS AND
SPACES OF THE HOUSE WITH CONCRETE. IT IS IN STARK CONTRAST TO THE LIGHT-
THE TOPOGRAPHY OF THE SITE. INFUSED BACK OF THE STRUCTURE WHICH IS IN DIRECT
INFLUENCED BY THESE CONTACT WITH THE VERDANT SURROUNDS.
DEMANDS FOR SYNERGY WITH
NATURE, THE DESIGN HAD ITS
GENESIS IN THE CONCEPT OF CONCEPT
HELIOTROPISM. TO ACHIEVE
EACH CUBE OF DYNAMIC LIVING SPACE
THIS BALANCE, THE BEAUTY OF WAS SITUATED SUCH THAT IT ALLOWED
THE NATURAL GROWTH FOR THE BEST POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO
PROCESSES FOLLOWED BY SUNLIGHT AND OTHER ECO FACTORS,
SUNFLOWERS WAS UTILISED. MUCH LIKE THE FLORETS OF THE
SUNFLOWER ITSELF. THE DOUBLE-STOREY
ALSO MIMICS THE DIFFERENTIAL GROWTH
SITE PLANING OF THE STEM OF THE PLANT WHERE AN
AUXIN ACCUMULATES ON THE SHADED

MAKES IT EASIER TO BUILD A GROUND FLOOR PLAN

UNEVEN SURFACE

THE SPACE THAT MAKES THIS


HOUSE INTERESTING IS THE
BEDROOM SPACE BECAUSE THE
ARCHITECT DOES NOT USE A
SIMPLE SHAPE SUCH AS A THE BASIC AND MONOLITHIC FORM IS
SQUARE OR A RECTANGULAR BUT DIVIDED INTO ANGULAR CONCRETE-
INSTEAD USES A MORE FRAMED SPACES DESIGNATING THE LIVING,
INTERESTING SHAPE BY DINING, COOKING, ENTERTAINMENT AND
ENSURING THAT THERE IS NO SLEEPING AREAS. THE TOP FLOOR HOUSES
NEGATIVE SPACE EVEN IF THERE THE BEDROOMS. THE PRIVACY OF EACH
IS CORNERED SPACE ROOM WAS VALUED AS THEY ARE
SEPARATED INTO TWO WINGS BY THE
LIVING AREAS BELOW.

THE SQUARE FOOTAGE IS 560 SQM ,
THE PROJECT AIMS TO DEFINE THE
SQUARE WITH A CONTEMPORARY
BUILDING, THAT DUE TO ITS VOLUME
CREATES A CENTRAL POINT IN THE
URBAN AREA.

ESSENTILA FOR THE PROMOTION OF A
SOCIAL AND AFFORDABLE LIFESTYLE .

THE HOSTEL WAS THOUGHT OUT TO BE


LIKE A LARGE HOUSE, WITH A SHARED
LIVING AND KITCHEN AREA, AND
SEVERAL INDOOR AND OUTDOOR
COMMUNAL AREAS. IT HAS NINE
BEDROOMS, WITH DIFFERENT
TYPOLOGIES, WITH A MAXIMUM
CAPACITY OF 30 TO 36 PEOPLE.

SMEG CONCEPT
CARPENTRY: GIL ALVES DA THE BUILDING IS DEFINED BY ITS PARALLELEPIPED SHAPE OF TWO FLOORS AND A BASEMENT. THE FACADES ARE
SILVA CARPINTARIA COMPOSED OF LARGE WHITE WALLS, THAT ARE BROKEN UP BY LARGE GLASS PANELS, WOODEN CLADDING,
BALCONIES THAT EXTEND THE LIMITS OF THE BUILDING, AND AN OUTDOOR AREA WITH A DECK, GARDEN, AND A
SANITARY: TOILETS, CATALANO
SMALL POOL.

URBAN CONCEPT

THE FACADES ARE COMPOSED OF LARGE WHITE WALLS, THAT ARE


BROKEN UP BY LARGE GLASS PANELS, WOODEN CLADDING,
BALCONIES THAT EXTEND THE LIMITS OF THE BUILDING, AND AN
OUTDOOR AREA WITH A DECK, GARDEN, AND A SMALL POOL.

THE MOST INTERESTING OR


EXCITING PLACE TO SEE IS IN THE
SECTION IS OUTDOOR COMMUNAL
AREAS. IT IS A RELATIVELY
GROUND FLOOR PLAN FIRST FLOOR PLAN
PRIVATE PLACE FOR RESIDENTS TO
REST THEIR MINDS OR SPEND FREE
TIME WITHOUT INTERRUPTION. AS PART OF THE GROUND FLOOR OF THE HOSTEL, THERE IS A COMMERCIAL SPACE, TWO TYPOLOGIES THAT DID
WITH THE POSITION FACING THE NOT EXIST IN THE AREA. IT IS EXPECTED THAT THESE ADDITIONS MAKE THE SQUARE A SOCIAL AREA NOT ONLY
FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BUT ALSO THE PEOPLE THAT STAY IN THE NEW ACCOMMODATIONS

COLLAGE ARCHITECTURE AN AREA OF 280 SQM. AAYI IS AN ATTEMPT TO IN GOA'S COUNTRYSIDE REVEALS A MIX

STRUCTURE
THE HOUSE IS A TWO-STORIED STRUCTURE WITH THE
GROUND FLOOR COMPRISING THREE COURTS WHICH
REPRESENT A MARRIAGE OF TRADITION WITH
CONTEMPORARY DESIGN.
COURTYARD
THE ENTRANCE BEGINS WITH THE WARM EMBRACE OF A
THIS SPACE SERVES AS A TRADITIONAL TULSI COURT LEADING ONTO THE CENTRAL
MULTI-PURPOSE COURT WHICH IS A DOUBLE-HEIGHT SPACE WITH A
GATHERING AREA FOR THE CONNECTING BRIDGE ON THE UPPER LEVEL, WHEREAS THE
FAMILY AND IT OPENS OUT THIRD COURT IS A BRUSH WITH NATURE AND A MORE
SECTION 2-2
TO A SOUTH-FACING YARD PRIVATE SPACE COMPRISING A WATER BODY.
