ELECTRONIC MUSIC

1.) Electronic music is music that employs electronic musical instruments and
electronic music technology in its production, an electronic musician being a
musician who composes and/or performs such music. In general, a distinction
can, be made between sound produced using electromechanical means and that
produced using electronic technology.
2.) French composers began creating works using tape recordings that included
acoustically produced tones and sounds (called musique concrete), while German
composers created works using tape recordings of electronically produced tones
and sounds (called elektronische musik). It is produced from a wide variety of
sound resources—from sounds picked up by microphones to those produced by
electronic oscillators (generating basic acoustical waveforms such as sine waves,
square waves, and sawtooth waves), complex computer installations, and
microprocessors—that are recorded on tape
3.) Music synthesizer, also called electronic sound synthesizer is a machine that
electronically generates and modifies sounds, frequently with the use of a digital
computer. Synthesizers are used for the composition of electronic music and in
live performance.
4.) A theremin works by generating electromagnetic fields around two antennae. A
straight, vertical antenna controls pitch; A horizontal, looped antenna controls
volume. A masterful player makes very small, precise finger and hand movements
in the field around the vertical antenna to change pitch and create melodies.

6.) In the "Ionisation- Emsemble Interconteporain", the music was thrilling, because
you'll have that feeling or vibe of being clueless with the next beat, it's
unpredictable, and it gives off a vibe from those in horror movies, especially at
the last part wherein, you'll hear the sound of somewhat an ambulance or a
distorted tune that's hard to explain but gives goosebumps all over your body. "
Kontakte", on the other hand, is really interesting and confusing at the same time,
it's like transmitting you into a new dimension, and gives these weird signals. I'm
in awe of the whole performance. The music expresses something really deep,
you don't fully understand, but you can feel it.
