1. What is a derivative of a function? In what way we can illustrate or compare the idea of a
derivative?
The instantaneous rate of change in a function at a particular position is described by its
derivative. Another typical interpretation is that the slope of the line tangent to the function's
graph at that particular point is given by the derivative. We can illustrate or compare the
idea of a derivative in a moving vehicle.
2. How is it different from the idea of differentiation?
The method of computing a derivative is called differentiation. In simple terms, the derivative
of a function is the rate of change of the output value with respect to its input value, whereas
differential is the actual change of function
