Write down some examples of code switching, code mixing and interference!

Answer:

People may switch to another language when there is no word for what
they want to say in the language they are speaking. Most languages cannot be
directly translated, and there are often words that exist in one language with no
translation in another language. Example, The French word Flâner means to
wander aimlessly with no final destination. There is no direct translation for
Flâner in English, so a French person speaking English may code-switch and
use it rather than explain its meaning in English.
The example of code mixing is “ngertiin mood si dia, kamulah jagonya”.
And the example of code switching like speaker A speak to speaker B about
how to use washing machine by using English and then speaker B talk again to
speaker C about the same problem, and it is happen in the same time and same
situation. In addition, the example of borrowing is there is someone at the door,
go and see what they want to do! The word they refer to him or her.
The example of interference is Javanese people say the name of places
which have sounds /b/, /d/, /g/, and /j/ like Bandung becomes mBandung, Deli
becomes nDeli. They pronunce word /f/ or /v/ is spoken /p/ like “Ok, never
forget, see you” becomes “Ok, neper porget, see you”. The other examples are
selalu becomes slalu, adik becomes adek, sayang becomes cayang, and ramai
becomes rame.
