COURSE DESCRIPTION: An introduction to the nature, causes, and possible interventions of psychological disorders. It includes nomenclature and classifications of mental disorders,

abnormal psychology.
2. Explain the process of assessing and diagnosing such behavior and the most commonly used system of classifying psychological
disorders.
3. Identify and classify abnormal behavior, signs and symptoms and the effective treatment approaches to the different psychological
disorders.
4. Acquire enough knowledge on the basic legal rights of people with mental disorders.
