What I Have Learned:

A. How is quantitative research relevant to different

discipline?

- Greater knowledge and comprehension of the social world are the goals
of quantitative research. To examine situations or events that have an
impact on people, researchers utilize quantitative methodologies.
Quantitative research generates unbiased data that can be explained in
detail using statistics and figures.

By utilizing precise sampling techniques and massive data sets, quantitative

research seeks to be generalizable to broad populations. It can offer crucial
descriptive statistics on a population or area, enabling us to understand key
features of the study's object(s).

B.
Field Importance\Contribution
Natural\Physical Science Quantitative research is widely used in
both the natural and social sciences,
including physics, biology, psychology,
sociology, geology, education, and
journalism. The objective of quantitative
research is to develop and employ
mathematical models, theories and
hypotheses pertaining to natural
phenomena.
Education Education research often relies on the
quantitative methodology. Quantitative
research in education provides numerical
data that can prove or disprove a theory,
and administrators can easily share the
number-based results with other schools
and districts.
Sports Quantitative research is used to identify
evidence of cause and effect relationships
and is used to collect data from a larger
population than qualitative research
(Downey & Ireland, 1979).
Arts And Design Quantitative research aims to measure
the impact of the arts on student learning
by testing the claims of its advocates
through controlled, experimental
methods, qualitative research methods
may be applied in an effort to describe
the impact of the arts in education within
the heuristic world of arts education
Agriculture And Fisheries Quantitative research can help illuminate
why fisheries operate as they do in
particular contexts, and thus improve the
understanding of responses to fisheries
management measures, including the
impasse that occurs when scientific
recommendations about fisheries
management.
Information and communication The purpose of quantitative research is to
technology attain greater knowledge and
understanding of the social world.
Researchers use quantitative methods to
observe situations or events that affect
people. Quantitative research produces
objective data that can be clearly
communicated through statistics and
numbers.

Accounting The benefits of quantitative research for
small businesses. Quantitative research
gives busy entrepreneurs the ability to
collect large volumes of data quickly and
efficiently, providing a generalised view of
your target demographic beyond your
survey participants.
