Description:Have you ever wondered what Brown Munde would sound like
if it was sung in english? Or whether Korean pop culture would still be
famous if it was sung by the Beatles instead of BTS .
Well…..We did.
So, bring your translation skills and your love for music, join us at Glóssa
symfonía and let's find out.

Rules:
 This is a choir event where the participants must translate a song sung in
any language other than English and make a video of them performing the
song.
● The language of the song to be performed for each school will be
decided by drawing lots on the day of the CL meet.
● The music video of each school will be uploaded on the official
IMMACULATA instagram handle
● Likes and comments on each post will attract positive marking
● Usage of a green screen is permitted however your physical set up for the
music video will attract positive marking
● Participants will have to wear a costume that reflects the culture of the
people who speak it..example- Traje de flamenco (Spanish)
Name: Rhythmic Revolution
(No of Participants: 4-6
Duration: 1 minute set-up time and 4 minutes performance time
Venue: Auditorium
No. of schools – 12-15

Description:. an electrifying musical fusion that will take your senses on a


journey across continents! It's time to witness the ultimate showdown of
vocal prowess as Hollywood and Bollywood collide in a battle of the bands
like no other. Get ready to experience an unforgettable night of music as
talented participants compete to deliver the most thrilling performances of
their favorite songs by two iconic artists, one from the glitz and glamour of
Hollywood, and the other from the colorful world of Bollywood.

Rules:

 A school via drawing of lots on the day of the CL meet gets two artists,
one from Bollywood and the other from Hollywood
 The school is only permitted to use the songs of these two artists,using
songs of other artists will lead to disqualification
 A standard drum kit will be provided by the school
 A maximum of three microphones will be provided for the vocalists
 Abusive Lyrics will not be permitted and will lead to negative marking
Name: Author’s Dillema
No. of Participants: 6 to 9
Duration: 4 to 7 mins.
Venue: Mary Immaculate Hall

Description: An immersive storytelling experience where you'll be


presented with dynamic situations and challenged to navigate the twists
and turns of the story.
Sharpen your decision-making skills and explore new perspectives as you
work with a team to uncover every author’s nightmare.

Rules:
● Participants will be given a scene from a story or a play and a modern day
problem (ex-poverty) via drawing of lots on the day of the CL meet.
● The participants will have to base their play around the theme given by
using the characters and general story line of the scene given to them.
● Inculcating the theme and the story is compulsory.
● An (acoustic) percussion instrument may be used for dramatic effect.
● The use of microphones, backing tracks or special lights will not be
permitted.
● Participants will be performing to a 360 degree audience.
● Participants will have to incorporate a 1 minute mime at any point in the
play.
● Use of The English Language or vernacular language is permitted.
● 5 Background props and 2 standing props are allowed
Name: Twisted moves
No of Participants: 8-10
Duration: 4 to 6 mins
Venue: Auditorium
From 10am To 1pm

Description: Get ready to put your dance skills to the test in this thrilling
competition! But that's not all – each team will also be given a unique prop
that they must incorporate into their performance. Can you rise to the
challenge and deliver a show-stopping routine that will have the crowd on
their feet?

Rules:
● Participants will be given one prop and one song by drawing of lots
● Each team has to inculcate the prop and the song for AT LEAST a
minute in their dances.
● Lack of usage of the prop or the song will lead to negative
marking.
● The participants are allowed to choose any form of dance
● Participants are free to add up to 3 additional songs besides the song
given to them
● The creative use of props and overall uniqueness of the dance will
attract positive marking
