Test Description:
This is a screening test only. A negative result does not rule out a SARS-CoV-2 infection. A positive result is suggested to be confirmed with RT-PCR testing which still remains
as the gold standard for the detection of SARS-CoV-2. A rapid antigen test alone cannot serve as a sole basis for diagnosis or treatment. More specific diagnostic methods or
molecular assays, such as RT-PCR test, should be performed in order to confirm COVID-19 infection. All results must be correlated clinically by the attending physician.
