Job Description: Quality Assurance Specialist

Orange and Crane Innovations (OCI) is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist. As a
Quality Assurance Specialist, you will have a major role to play in the quality assurance
stage of software development. You will carry out manual tests to ensure the software
created meets the requirements. This involves the analysis of software to prevent
issues and fixing bugs before the product is dispatched to users. As working with code
is part of the role, software testers are expected to be familiar with various coding
languages.

Job Description:

• Ensures that business requirement / scope specification is analyzed and

understood properly
• Design and develop test plan and test scenarios for software, systems to detect
faults and new product development.
• Keep records for defects that are discovered during testing.
• Investigating defects, reproducing problems, and documenting findings.
• Develop or recommend solutions to fix any problems discovered during testing.
• Closely collaborating with developers to track defect and backlog items.
• Ensure all issues and bugs are appropriately identified, documented, validated,
and resolved in a timely manner
• Keep software and systems documentation up to date.
• Coordinate with project management to understand client specification.
• Provide QA feedback for review retrospectives deliverables.
• Maintain the projects as smooth and functional
• Directly provide updates to Senior Developers and Project Managers

Job Specifications:

• Obtained a bachelor’s degree either of the following - Computer Science,

Computer Engineering, Information Technology and/or related field.
• At least 2- 3 years of working experience in Quality Assurance Testing
• Strong experience in Manual Web Application Testing
• Strong experience in Manual Mobile Application Testing (Android and IOS)
• Must be proficient in writing test plan, test cases and test scripts
• Must have an in-depth understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA
methodologies and SDLC (both Waterfall, Sprint, and Agile Development)
