ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE/MACHINE LEARNING RESEARCH INTERN
• Collaborate with a team of 4 professors to execute an economics project that uses artificial intelligence
techniques to analyze and understand relationships between various factors and health outcomes.
• Utilized advanced data manipulation techniques and programmed multiple machine learning models
using Python and SAS to analyze complex data sets, resulting in more accurate and efficient analysis for
the economics project, and presenting findings to the team of professors.
• Spearhead the collection and cleaning of data, complying with best practices and policies to maintain
total data integrity throughout project.
• Pilot the design and implementation of machine learning models to drive project progress forward,
identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of the results of the analysis, yielding key findings and insights and

consent forms.
• Liaise with patients and medical teams to ensure best informed consent process for patients who are
participating in research studies, including explaining the study to the patient, answering questions, and
ensuring that the patient has a clear understanding of the study and its requirements at all times,
streamlining communication channels and strictly adhering to relevant compliance regulations.
• Optimize management of outgoing referrals, completing Worker’s Comp case paperwork and
coordination with case workers.

Discrimination, allowing for independent data collection related to direct patient experience with these
