mobile phones of the individuals in accompany of their personal details such as: full name, date of birth,

and full address to activate the SIM card which shall be accomplished electronically. Senate Bill 2395

SIM card Registration Act was implemented and approved by the Philippines' lawmakers to reduce

crimes that has been happening online (e.g., online trolling, disinformation, bank fraud, making of

numerous anonymous accounts).

The problem may occur when considering the fact that it threatens the privacy of individuals.

Mirandilla-Santos, an independent ICT researcher stated that the central database security is not

guaranteed to be at 100% which means that if the law is not implemented properly, there is a

possibility that cybercrimes related to the leakage of personal data might occur (e.g., identity theft).

Since there is no evidence regarding the effectiveness of the bill to other countries, implying the

justification of the effectiveness and efficiency of the law, and initiation of transparency when it comes

to the security of the database is crucial to protect the mobile phone consumers and their personal data

to be gathered.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Politics is one of the most important aspect in a country. It can be described as the
study of government where there are politicians assigned to implement rules for the
sake of the country(Modebadze, Valeri, 2010). However, when it comes to political
situations, citizens tend to have their own perspectives, opinions, and view with one
another.

The presidential candidacy recently, has been a controversial issue in the Philippines
as the voters' pick has a noticeable division regarding their perception on who should
be elected. The different views has caused a widespread impact on the relationship of
Filipinos' to one another. Young adults (ages 12 to 18) who are engaged to different
social media platforms, are not exempted in this matter and their perceptions in
political matters may have affected their opinion about their friends as differences

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Various students try to find a way to do schoolwork in a shorter period of time. Avoiding school work

for as long as possible then doing it right before it is due, has been a habit of some and this is called

cramming. However, even though some may find it helpful, it is only good for short-term memory.

Cramming has been a habit of most students in high school and colleges, it is the last resort of the

students especially when most of the students have poor time management or they have other

responsibilities for their families.

The psychological and educational literature are against cramming. However, students think that

cramming works, and most of them find it effective as a study habit. The issue here is that the potential

of the students reduces because of the limited time while answering the questions which sometimes

may lead to inferior results. Cramming as a study strategy may be adopted by students for many

reasons: because the student is busy, overloaded with work, sports, or other aspects of campus life; or

simply because of procrastination (Ackerman & Gross, 2005.) This is recognized for being lazy in the

first place and cramming in every available way, then rushing to accomplish their responsibility in the

end.
