My goal statement 2023

During this year I noticed that in the two different types of modalities
which are Presential and Virtual, students need further practice in the
use of the grammar structures. Furthermore, I believe we need to
adjust our approaches to make learning more meaningful to our
students in the two modalities.
Taking that into consideration, I will try out some new exercises apart
from the books related to the grammar lessons a day after it was taught
as a matter of reviewing the lesson.
1. Over this year, I will leave some new exercises regarding the last
grammar lesson taught at the beginning of the class so that they
have time during the hole class to do it. In the case of Presential
classes, I could write a couple of exercises on one of the corners
of the board and in Virtual class I could send them a link with
some online exercises.

2. During classes students usually finish before the time expected in

every activity that is assigned during class. Thus; they could use
this free time to try to figure out the extra exercises left at the
beginning. This will work for Virtual and Presential classes.

3. At the end of each class, I will elicit the answers to discuss about
the use and rules of the grammar lesson, including the topics and
context in which we can use that grammar point. Finally, I will
elicit some new examples to check production.
