QUESTION TWO

In the process of Two-Parameter Weibull distribution, I found the 𝑓! (𝑡) by using the equation
given on the assignment sheet using constant of 𝑘 = 3 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝜆 = 3.1:

𝑘 𝑥 "#$ 𝑥 "
𝑓! (𝑡) = 𝑓(𝑥) = 0 1 exp 5− 0 1 7
𝜆 𝜆 𝜆

The results of can be found on the Excel sheet.

The MSE was found to be the SUM of 𝑓! (𝑡) and the 𝐸𝑟𝑟𝑜𝑟 was essentially, 𝑓! (𝑡) − 𝑓(𝑡). And
!
also, the 𝐸𝑟𝑟𝑜𝑟 ! was equal to ;𝑓! (𝑡) − 𝑓(𝑡)< .

To make the graph, I inserted a new line graph, right-clicked the graph, and then added the New
Data making the X-series = 𝑡, Y-series 1 = 𝑓(𝑡) and lastly, Y-series 2 = 𝑓! (𝑡) and that is how my
graph came to be.
