9:30 AM What's wrong with me? Scripture: 1 John 3 Text: 1 John 3: 4 (Lords Day 2)

New members classes - Dr. Jerry Bilkes has agreed to teach the
classes beginning September 25 after the morning service. Please contact him for more information.

From the Deacons: Please prayerfully consider giving to the Education

Fund collection scheduled for today. For the current 2011-2012 school year we are making a slight change to the current assistance program. Families may fill out an education assistance form in September in order to receive aid at the beginning of the school year, instead of in February, as was done in previous years. The assistance forms are in the narthex. Please return them to the deacons by Sept. 18, 2011. Beginning with the 2012-2013 school year we hope to increase the assistance available to families who enroll their children in Christian schools. Our hope is to be able to offer aid to every family regardless of need.

Car seats and bicycles needed: If you have car seats you no longer
need and they are in good shape, six years old or younger, we need some for new seminary families. Also, if you have bikes (for adults or children) which are in decent shape and you could donate for transportation or leisure, please call Mary Beeke (285-8102). We have a volunteer who is willing to do minor repairs if needed. Thank you.

The Lord willing... James 4:15

~ From The Consistory ~

Visitors, welcome. We hope you are blessed through worshiping with us this Lords Day. May God be worshipped acceptably under His Word today.

Saturday Bible study breakfast meetings are scheduled at 7:00 the 1st
& 3 Saturdays of the month beginning October 1 at Rainbow Grill in Hudsonville. We plan to continue with the Epistles of John. For additional information please contact deacon Dwight Prince.

Our midweek fellowship evenings will begin October 12. We have

scheduled these for the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The second fellowship evening will however be Thursday, October 27. Details will be given later for these meetings but please schedule your family activity to be able to participate with these means of grace.

Today, Dr. David Murray will preach for us. Dr. Murray will preach a
preparatory message as we plan to celebrate the Lords Supper next Sunday morning, September 18, the Lord willing. The observance of the Lords Supper, in our congregation and denomination, is a close communion. Therefore, those who are not members are asked to appear before the consistory prior to being permitted to partake of the Lords Supper. Those visitors desiring to attend are encouraged to contact one of the elders, before the next elders meeting which will be held September 14. There will be no Sunday School/catechism classes on that morning.

The Boys and Girls Club is planning a new season. All children 2nd
grade to 8th grade are invited to attend. We do need helpers at each meeting to make this year go smoothly. We also need someone to help take leadership of the girls meetings. Please see Steve Kleyn if you can help make this year a great year for the Boys and Girls Club. September 14 (Wednesday) 7:30 PM Elders meeting. September 17 (Saturday) 3 Annual Seminary Day at the Free Reformed Church of Dundas. Young and Old are invited. Rev. C. Pronk will speak on: Are We Losing our Heritage or Adding to it? Dr. G.M. Bilkes will speak on: The Home Christ Loves to Visit. There will be activities for the young people after the afternoon session. Coffee will be served at 9:45 with the opening at 10:30. Refreshment and lunch are provided at a cost.

Next Sunday, Dr. Jerry Bilkes will conduct our worship services, D.V. The Sunday School/catechism classes begin this morning. All classes
are asked to meet upstairs in the wing of the sanctuary for a combined opening after the morning service.

We are grateful that the Lord has blessed our congregation with the
