Greeting Card

What is Greeting Card?

Greeting cards are texts that contain congratulations or prayers for those who are celebrating something
or having a special moment (good or bad events).
The purpose of Greeting Card
The function or purpose of greeting cards is to express congratulations or sympathy to others.
Greeting cards can be a way to show that you care about someone.
In addition, you can use greeting cards when you want to express feelings, especially if you are one of those
people who are not used to express feelings through speech.
The structure of Greeting Card
Similar with the other texts, greeting cards also have a writing structure. Even though it's simple,
make sure to make greeting card which includes these three things:
1. Receiver (Recipient)
It is a description of who the greeting card is intended for. E.g. your friend, your teacher, your
school etc.
2. Body (Content)
This section contains the main message that is wanted to be given to the recipient of the letter It can
be in a form of congratulations, prayers and good wishes, or condolences.
3. Sender
At the end of the greeting card, do not forget to include the sender of the card.
Types of Greeting Card
In general, greeting card can be identified into three type, those are:
1. Congratulation card (Birthday, wedding, graduation, get achievement, winning competition, etc.)
