Lesson 7: Past continuous

Sky diving
Some people like watching TV or meeting with friends for fun.
However, some others like more adrenaline-producing activities.
Only in the U.S:, more than 3.3 million people jump in parachutes
every year.
Andrè-Jacques Garnerin, from France, invented the parachute in
1797. He jumped from a hot air balloon in Paris and landed alive.
Now, sky diving is not only a popular sport, but also a useful tool for
military and firefighters.

Past Continuous
Use past continuous to talk about actions that happened in the past but where interrupted, or about
actions that were happening at the same time.

I was walking in the beach when I saw two skydivers landing.
