Project brief:
A renovation project for interiors of Mediatheque in the French institute of
Cairo. The works includes change in some structural elements, remodeling of
spaces, new MEP infrastructure, and new interior finishes. The owner hired
Cluster as architectural consultant required to produce all architectural tender
drawings and specifications; plus, coordination between all consultants. However,
the owner hired a French MEP design consultant, also hired an Egyptian MEP
consultant to submit the tender drawings and specs. Moreover, the owner hired
Civil consultant for the structural tender document. Finally, the owner hired a
contractor to execute the renovation plan.

Execution of Mediatheque Renovation

1. Objectives Execute structural modifications, MEP infrastructure,
and interior finishes including fixed furniture.

3. Contracts Required Lump sum contract based on contracted Bill of

quantities and full set of specifications, vendor list,
and tender drawings.
The Contract was following JCT contract forms.
