I.Define the following

1.Governance
Governance is the management of the resource endowment of a State. It
is practiced through processes, mechanisms and institutions through
which the citizens and other groups of society articulate their interests,
exercise legal rights, meet their obligations and mediate their differences.
It involves making decisions, setting goals, establishing policies, and
allocating resources in a manner that ensures accountability,
transparency, and effectiveness. Governance can be formal or informal,
and it can involve various actors, including government officials, civil
society organizations, and private sector actors. Effective governance is
essential for promoting sustainable development, protecting human
rights, and ensuring social justice

2.Good governance
Good governance pertains to the existence of an efficient and accountable in
stitution, be it judicial, executive, administrative, economic, corporate, and
entrenched rules that protect human rights, respect the rule of law, and ensure
that people are free to partic ipate in and will be heard on, decisions that affect
their lives, most especially for the promotion of society’s development.
It also promotes the involvement of all citizens in decision-making processes, and
establishes structures and processes that foster the development of institutions and
resources that can support long-term sustainable development.

1. It focuses on the organization’s purpose and on the
outcomes for citizens and service users.

through behavior.
4 .It means that the information relative their decisions and
risk management are transparent.

5.It develops the capacity and capability of the governing

body to be effective.
