THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

This chapter presents the Introduction, Statement of the Problem, Theoretical

Framework, Conceptual Framework, Assumption of the Study, Significance of the

Study, Scope and Limitation of the Study, and the Definition of Terms.

Introduction

This study explains what is the most effective and quality application in terms

of editing images. It is important to know the different advantages and disadvantages

of these applications because it can provide knowledge on how to use it properly.

(GCFGLOBAL, 2022)

There are students who don’t know how to use any kind of editing application.

This study can help students to know more about various image editing tools including

spot healing, a clone stamp healing brush, and a patch tool. (Constitutional Commission

of, 1986)

Consequently, the researchers conduct this study to convey knowledge and to

know the Quality, Stability & Performance, and excellent user support of Photopea and

Adobe Illustrator applications. Julie Ann Bagamaspad

In the 1987 constitution of the Republic of the Philippines Article XIV,

Section10 states that: “The State shall give priority to research and development,

invention, innovation, and their utilization; and to science and technology education,

training, and services. It shall support indigenous, appropriate, and self-reliant scientific

and technological capabilities, and their application to the country's productive systems

and national life.” (Constitutional Commission of, 1986)

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to compare and analyze Adobe Illustrator vs Photopea to know

the most effective editing application.

1. Profile of the respondents in terms of:

1.1 Name

1.2 Gender

1.3 Age

1.4 ICT Student (Any grade level)

2. Comparison of the most effective editing applications: Adobe illustrator vs

Photopea.

2.1 Quality

2.2 User friendly

2.3 Availability

Theoretical Framework

According to Application in Multimedia Arts Theory. Base on this theory,

the significance of editing software on multimedia art that increases public demand for

visual value

The Adobe Illustrator and Photopea are one of those editing application that can

be use in multimedia design. Combining the interactive virtual and the creation of

multimedia exhibition.

Interaction in multimedia art. This Theory shows the overview of physical

interaction of multimedia art forms include photo, video, film editing. A general

description of interaction between humans and electronics system is followed by a

categorization of interaction in a performance situation. It’s illustrated with adobe

illustration and photopea. They have an emphasis on the physical aspect of human –
computer interaction.

According to Social Influence Theory. This theory suggests that the behavior

of an individual is influenced by the behavior of others within their social network.

When it comes to social networks like photopea and adobe illustration, users are likely

to engage with content that has been shared or liked by their peers, as they perceive it

to be valuable or relevant.
Conceptual Framework

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR VS PHOTOPEA: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

STUDY OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE EDITING APPLICATION

Assumption of the Study

The researchers assume that Adobe Illustrator is the most effective on ICT

ACLC students in terms of editing. User-Friendly research could gain insights into the

motivations and behaviors of user on both platforms, as well as understand the relative

strengths and weakness of each platform in terms of engagement and user satisfaction.

Significance of the Study

This study will be beneficial to the school personnel, parents, students and other

researchers. This study will give them a hint to improve their editing skills as well as

the materials and techniques. The researchers in the near future will look out for the

result of the researcher’s present study. This study will serve as their basis and

comparison to their future study.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

This study will focus on the effectiveness of editing applications among

students and the applications they use the most. The survey will be given to fifty (50)

Senior high school students from AMA learning center, Antipolo, twenty-five (25) for

girls and twenty-five (25) for boys, for a total of fifty (50) ICT Senior high school

students. This study will look only at the effect of this application on editing

applications. Anything not connected to this will not be included.

Definition of Terms

In order to arrive at a common understanding, the researchers defined the following

terms:
