Introduction
The purpose of this report is to outline how language is taught in Brazil, compare the school foreign
language curriculum and outsiders English schools and look for the best and most common way of
teaching.

Learning Foreign Languages in Brazil

In Brazil the two most popular foreign languages are English and Spanish, I believe on that because
these two languages are the most common languages in the world. Brazil is a country with many
different people from a lot of places, so the smartest thing to do is to learn languages that everyone
talks, that is why English, and Spanish are the most common ones.

Normal School or Language Institutes

In Brazil there are two mains points when talking about learning foreign languages, you can learn it by
the school curriculum or by English schools, a lot of people who believe that the school where they
study are sufficient to teach foreign languages. However, the biggest majority of schools does not have
good teachers or enough classes at the curriculum to teach so it comes out that they are often anything
to write home about. When studying in those types of schools, most of it, the best thing to do is to learn
it in different places like specialize institutes. Specialize places can teach in a very more efficient way by
improving main points like conversation, listen writing and reading, most common ignored by regular
schools. Although there different types of schools, this ones are focused on two or more languages
there the most part of the school day is spent by talking English or other languages, they have normal
curriculum classes in other languages so this type of school are also very good to learn foreign
languages.

TO sum up, nowadays with the advance of technology and other sciences the teaching methods
are changing, and the consumer are adapting, it is very common now to learn bye internet or
learn it bye yourself with books and exercises I believe this ways are not very good as a regular
school, because you cannot see a teacher or a person to help you. However, the most effective
way for me it is by exchange programmes, because this is a way which you only have one
choice. You can learn or do not be able to communicate, therefore many people have decided
by that.
