Environmental impact is defined as any change to the environment, whether adverse or beneficial, resulting from a facility's activities, products, or services. These pollutants, like carbon monoxide, could have an adverse effect on the amount of greenhouse gases that are linked to climate change and global warming when they are released into the atmosphere.
