Unit 1 “Building a Life”

General Objective: Talking about plans, ambitions, hopes,


expectations, predictions, especially personal ones in a familiar context
or personal interests in a second language.

Lesson 1.2 Describing actions in the future.

Specific Objective: By the end of the week the students will be able to
give their personal information and ideas about the future.

Monday

1. Read the blog post “So you graduate- then what?” on page 5
from your MIR Book B1.1. Identify the ideas in future and
underline them, then answer the questions from the page 6.
Take a photo as evidence.

2. Think of the the following questions.

a) What do you think about the future of humanity?


b) What are you going to do to improve humanity`s life quality?
3. Watch the video The World's Future In 2100 - An Amazing Future
For Humans (2018).

Make a classmate a phone call and tell him/her your opinion about the video.

4. Answer the exercise 1 and 2 of this link. Take a screenshot as

Tuesday
1) Write a paragraph where you respond to Shelley White´s
invitation and include the answers to the questions given on page
6 from your MIR book B1.1. Remember to include the use of the
