Cristian: Hello everyone, ’m Cristian, and today in our programme we are 
going to interview Saúl and Curro, our guests today. 
Saúl: Hello i'm Saúl and i am a historian 
Curro: Hello i’m Curro and i am a tourist 
Cristian: Do you know where the cathedral is located? 
Curro: it’s located in Galicia, Specifically in Santiago de Compostela. 
Saúl: Santiago is very famous because of pilgrimage. Many people 
Cristian: Amazing! Can you tell me how to go from the bus station? 
Curro: ​If you go by car from the bus station in 10 minutes you’ll be there: 
First, go to Rúa de Vista Alegre, then go to Rúa de Domingo García-Sabell, finally 
continue to Rúa Das Carretas and you’ll be there. 
Cristian: And how many routes are there for the Camino De Santiago? 
Saúl: There are more than fifty (50) routes 
Curro: And who designed it? 
Saúl: It was designed by Maestro Mateo, a Spanish architect 
Cristian: When was it built? 
Curro: They started to build in 1075, but they ended it in 1211 
Cristian: Can you tell me an interesting fact of the building? 
Curro: in 1738 Fernando de Casas knocked down the old façade to start to build 
the new one. 
Cristian: What was it built for? 
Saúl: It was built to shelter the remains of The Apostle Santiago 
Cristian: Wow, it’s an incredible building!
