CASE STUDY
CHADHA AUNTY & SONS
BRIEF
The brief given to us by the client was that "Mainnu kuch different chaida hai"
considering the fact that most deli very kitchens cannot be differentiated on any other
aspect than their food.

OBJECTIVE
Our objective was to set our brand apart from all the delivery kitchens existing in the
market. We decided to experiment with packaging and give a very distinctive identity to
the brand through personification of the brand name itself. Further, the brand language
was developed to be humorous yet trustworthy. In Chadha Aunty's words "Khana te sab
banande ne, ussi logaan nu khush vi karaange"
PRE-LAUNCH
LOGO AND
BRANDING
The logo was designed to be in sync with the
name of the delivery kitchen. A friendly
neighborhood Punjabi aunty was chosen for the
brand representation. This not only helped us to
establish a very distinct brand image but also to
help the customers connect with the cuisine
more.
KITTHE CHALE ?

THE

Quirky stickers were

conceptualized and designed, to be
used for the outlet's packaging. The
stickers were both informative and
humorous, in-sync with the brand
identity that we were trying to form
for Chadha Aunty.
A simple one pager menu was designed, the outlet being solely a delivery kitchen.

MENU The front of the menu showcases the brands' food offerings while the back of the
menu is filled with the brand imagery and food shots. "Dhyaan khaane utte hi
rakhaange"
PACKAGING

The various options for packaging

were developed considering the kind
of cuisine and dishes being delivered.
The packaging had to be compact,
spill-proof and able to hold weight of
the food being delivered. "Khana
garam na pohonche te ki faayeda"
PACKAGING
WEBSITE

A simple one page website was designed for

Chadha Aunty, keeping in mind the brand
colors, the brand language as well as the
brilliantly executed photoshoot of the various
food items. "Simple hove, te changi hove"
AFFILIATE

COMING SOON CAMPAIGN

For the Coming Soon we decided to narrate Chadha Aunty's story. We weaved a story around how Chadha
Aunty, once having lived in Amritsar, having to move to Southall, London for a couple of years, is now back
to Gurgaon, India to share the love for cooking with everyone. "Tasty khana haiga, meri apni recipe haigi"
A photoshoot was conceptualized for
Chadha Aunty's menu items. The
packaging was included so as to establish
the delivery aspect of the brand as well as
showcase the colorful and fun packaging
design. "Khana changa te hai, onnu changa

a constant flow of orders for the kitchen.
BOGO
Being a delivery kitchen, we had to utilise both traditional and modern

PR PR methods to generate traction for the brand. Food bloggers were

leveraged to bump up Zomato ratings and generate buzz on social
media. Content platforms and online publications were contacted to

COVERAGES ensure that the brand had an overall media presence. LBB, NDTV
