I have a strong motivation to contribute to the society specially to the marginalized group.

I have a
dream to design affordable housing for this group in my country. People are still compromising with a
safe and comfortable home to live in. I am known to some, and I want to start with them, and then will
carry my mission further and try to approach the authorities. As per my research, Arup has been doing
an extensive research and consultations and is working rigorously on a niche and large scale. Arup is a
credible source to educate graduates like us. After completing my school, each step I have taken, I
thought of my goal and the way to achieve it. This always inspires me to be a good learner which I feel
personally is always helping to perform well in any kind of role we are working on. I have helped few
local communities to deal with issues of their building services design and teach them how to optimize
the electricity cost by making them aware of the simple methods. These small experiences keep me
inspired always with my studies or a job. And so, I think this will help me in a career with Arup.     

In my country, the largest source to generate electricity is conventional fuels to power the buildings and
infrastructures. Also, the plan to switch from conventional to green source of energy is quite long when
compared to developed nation. And so, I was not much aware of that how green energy is used on a
very big scale in competitive countries. For me it was a sort of myth that a building may have a feature of
net zero emission at early stage of my career.    But when I started taking the modules of my course, It
was the first thing I started learning to understand how the different source of energies are used to
generate electricity in other parts of the world. And this learning was very fruitful for me as it helped me
busting the myth I was carrying. In my opinion this information will help me with a better understanding
of this role at Arup and will help me to further my career.     

i) Arup has earned the trust of the world after having a very large journey of supporting the sustainable,
reliable, and qualitative services. The trust earned by the organization is the trust achieved by the hard
work and dedication of the employees. If got an opportunity to work in Arup, I will try to maintain the
credibility of this. And for this I will try to understand the way of working and will learn how to approach
a real-world problem with a solution so that quality of the task must not be compromised.

ii) To understand and deliver a task, it is important to understand how it would affect the business. This
helps in a better understanding of project and the risks associated with it. To perform a task, I will try to
figure out the versatility of the business associated with the task to improve efficiency and reliability.
This way I can deliver my best to Arup.
