This document reviews literature on the effectiveness of online video tutorials during modular distance learning. It discusses several studies that found online learning can be effective, especially for secondary and higher education students who are familiar with technology. However, implementation of online learning for elementary students presents challenges. The document also reviews studies showing that video tutorials on learning management systems and YouTube can improve educational outcomes when used to supplement face-to-face instruction or as part of a flipped classroom model.

2ND NATIONAL HIGHSCHOOL DURING MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE According to Fauzi and Khusuma (2020), “Teachers’ ElementarySchool in Online Learning of COVID-19 Pandemic Conditions”, explained that online learning is a way to be effective to be applied in education, because most of its implementations are at the level of secondary education and higher education who already understand the use of technology. In addition, the implementation of online learning that is carried out is only a trial in a short period of time. It is clear that online learning will greatly affect its effectiveness. Conditions in emergencies (COVID-19 pandemic) as now result in all having to do online learning, including in elementary schools. According to Nahar and Chowdhury (2019) ‘Effectiveness of Flipped Classroom Model in Distance Learning”, that an educational model and an alternative to the typical classroom is the flipped classroom. The traditional classroom is flipped or inverted by giving teaching with a mobile device. Online resources are followed by peer learning or small-group work in the classroom. According to Bondoc and Malawit (2020) “Classifying relevant video tutorials for the school’s learning management system using support vector machine algorithm” that many schools, universities, and organizations now understand the value and necessity of employing Learning Management Systems (LMS). As part of their educational offerings, they use Learning Management Systems (LMS). This study used a learning management system (LMS) in the classroom. Bulacan State University's (BulSU) Graduate School (GS) Program has a teaching and learning procedure that improves face-to-face interaction online components of training. According to Nagy (2018) “Evaluation of Online Video Usage and Learning Satisfaction: An Extension of the Technology Acceptance Model” that learning satisfaction was directly influenced by learner-learner interaction, perceived ease of use, and learning performance. According to Mazariri (2020) “Student Perceptions Towards the use of YouTube as An Educational Tool for Learning and Tutorials”, that YouTube as an educational tool has been recently receiving a great deal of attention from researchers and teachers.
