Ladies and gentlemen.

First of all, let us praise and thank the presence of Greatest Allah swt for the blessing and guidance.
The salawat and greetings we pour out to the Prophet Muhammad saw who has brought us out of the
dark ages to the era of bright light today, so we are always on the right path until the end of the
world.

Thanks for the opportunity, What an honor for me to stand here and deliver a speech. The tittle of my
speech is the important of islamic education.

In the scope of education, Islamic education is extremely much needed for teeneger, because with
this contemporary era there are many negative impacts among students, by instilling Islam in
students and good direction then the scholars will avoid the negative effects of contemporary times.

Islamic religious education is closely related to education in general. Islamic education aims to
increase students' devotion to Allah SWT, To develop the potential that exists for Moeslim students as
creatures who will be educated. To pass down the cultural values of Islamic religion to students as
future generations or prospective leaders of the people. The purpose of Islamic education which is in
line with the mission of Islam is to elevate moral values to achieve akhlakul karimah.

As explained in verse 11, surah Al-Mujadalah

It means, Allah will elevate those who believe among you and those who are given knowledge by
several degrees, and Allah is aware of what you do.

As explain in H.R Ibnu majah no.225

It means, every moeslim person should seek knowledge

There are several impacts of islamic education for students, they’ll be able to apply Islam in their daily
lives, for instance praying in congregation, shaking hands with parents or teachers, in terms of
behavior or morals, by getting an Islamic religious education their morals are better, for instance,
obedient to folks and teachers, polite, humble to everyone, helping one another to assist, at this time,
students must be piloted from behavior or morals of oldsters and teachers, with the knowledge of
Islamic religion and good moral behavior, students are encouraged to use it in their daily lives.

In conclusion, Islamic education is basically very important for the formation of a person's character in
order to achieve perfection through knowledge to provide happiness in the world and as a way to get
closer to Allah SWT.
