1. Introduction: Paraphrase The chart(s) illustrate(s)/ compare(s)/

highlight(s)/ show(s)/,…
VD: “The two pie charts illustrate how different industry sectors contributed
to the economy of Turkey percentage in the years 2000 and 2016”

2. Overview:

- Khi miêu tả về xu hướng: Nêu lên được những số liệu có xu hướng

tăng lên hoặc giảm xuống

- Khi miêu tả về độ lớn: Nhân tố nào trong biểu đồ dần chiếm phần lớn
hơn, nhân tố nào có xu hướng giảm nhỏ lại. Phần nào không hề thay
đổi trong suốt quá trình.

VD: "Overall, at the beginning of the period construction contributed the least
to the economy of Turkey and agriculture was the most significant economic
sector. In comparison, at the end of the period healthcare and education
became the largest economic segment and the lowest contribution was made
by financial, business and other services".

3. Body: Với dạng biểu đồ tròn (Pie Chart), bạn có thể chia phần Body
thành hai cách như sau

● Cách 1: Chia theo năm

● Cách 2: Chia theo đối tượng

- Nếu đề bài chỉ cho một Pie Chart, bạn hãy sắp xếp và trình bày thông
tin từ lớn nhất đến nhỏ nhất.

- Nếu đề bài cho ra hai hoặc nhiều biểu đồ, bạn có thể trình bày thông tin
theo cách sau đây:
 + Phân chia các thành phần được thể hiện trong biểu đồ bằng các
mũi tên đi lên, đi xuống, hoặc biểu tượng chỉ sự không thay đổi.

+ Phân chia các hạng mục theo từng nhóm để dễ dàng cho việc so
sánh và đối chiếu. Chia phần thân bài (Body) thành những đoạn
mạch lạc nhưng vẫn duy trì sự chặt chẽ. Lưu ý các điểm đặc biệt
như gấp đôi, gấp ba.

Construction sector accounted for 3% of Turkey's economy in 2000,

and experienced a more than threefold increase to one-tenth in 2016.
Economic income from trade, utilities and transportation was 14% in 2000
and experienced a slight growth of 2% in 2016. At the beginning of the
period, manufacturing and finance, business and other services made up 8%
and 5% of Turkey's economy, respectively, and these figures rose to 12% and
8% in 2016.

Agriculture, which comprised almost a quarter of Turkey's economy in

2000, fell to 14% in 2016. In 2000 economic outputs from government and
leisure and hospitality sectors were at 12% and 17%, respectively, and both
decreased by 3% after a 16-year period. In contrast, contributions from the
healthcare and education sector remained constant in both years at 17%.

Đề: The pie chart gives information on UAE government spending in

2000. The total budget was AED 315 billion. Summarize the information
by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons
where relevant. (Write at least 150 words).

1. Introduction: “The pie chart shows the UAE government’s budget

spending of 315 billion AED in different sectors in 2000”.
2. Overview:
Ở dạng bài Pie Chart tĩnh, bạn sẽ không thấy bất kỳ xu hướng thay đổi hoặc
điểm đặc biệt nào. Hãy tiến hành phân tích độ lớn của các hạng mục dựa vào
các kích cỡ tương ứng của phần.

Khi phân tích đề bài theo mục trên, bạn sẽ xác định được các thông tin tiêu
biểu như:

● Highest spendings: Social security and healthcare;

● Lowest spendings: Transport, law and order, housing and

industry/agriculture and employment sectors.

Ví dụ: Overally, the UAE government’s maximum spending went in social

security and healthcare sectors while the least amounts were spent on
transport, law and order, housing and industry/agriculture and employment
sectors.

3. Body
- Liệt kê số liệu của từng hạng mục và sắp xếp chúng theo thứ tự từ cao
nhất đến thấp nhật (hoặc ngược lại tùy theo hướng phân tích bài)
- Ví dụ phần Body cho đề bài trên:

According to the pie chart, the UAE administration allocated AED 100
billion in social security from their national budget of AED 315 billion. This
single sector cost the UAE government almost one-third of the total budget.
This year the government’s expense was 53 million on health and personal
social services, which was the second largest sector in terms of expenditure
made by the UAE government. 38 million AED was spent on education while
23 billion both in debt and other expenditures.
The government used 22 billion in the Defence sector while 15 billion of the
budget was spent on housing and the environment. Next, the government
spent 13 billion for the industry, employment and agriculture sectors. Finally,
The lowest amount of money, only 9 billion, went to the transport sector.
